Making a colour detector

Recently, I decided to make a colour detector, which might come in handy if ever we need it to follow a coloured line.

The idea was simple: have 4 coloured LEDs ( red, green, yellow, blue) connected through resistors to an Arduino. Have an LDR in between them, connected to high voltage with another resistor in series. Now make the LEDs shine one at a time for an equal interval of time each. Read the voltage across the LDR, which changes based on the color which the entire setup faces. Calibrate it by setting thresholds for each colour you wish to measure, and we’re done!
